GAPSA is holding a special election for the Vice President of Arlington Campus officer position for the 2018-19 year.

Interested graduate and professional students must submit a Candidacy Form by the deadline in order to be considered. The current Executive Board of GAPSA for 2018-2019 will review the applications and elect the officer. Those interested in running for the Vice President of Arlington Campus position can find the application packet here: GAPSA Special Elections Packet 2018-19.

  • Applications Available Monday, August 27, 2018
  • Applications Due Friday, September 7, 2018 at 5:00pm
  • Review of Applications and Qualifications Monday, September 10, 2018, through Monday, September 17, 2018
  • Election Results Announced Wednesday, September 19, 2018

Thank you to all the candidates for their interest in serving the graduate and professional student community at Mason.

The GAPSA Executive Committee is elected from the graduate and professional student population at George Mason University. All degree-seeking graduate and professional students in good standing at the university are eligible to run for one of the five Executive Officer positions on the committee. Elections were held in May 16-18, 2018, with a Special election August 27-September 17, 2018.
